Happy Anniversary
Last week we attended another fabulous party hosted by Danny Rasberry at his beautiful home which was featured in season 5 of Home Town. This time Danny really outdid himself. The party was created for fans of Home Town as well as Laurel locals. There was a carnival theme with food trucks, corn dogs, chili, an open bar and to top it off there were circus performers a fire show and even a James Bond look alike wandering the premises. It felt like we had been transported someplace else.

Well today marks the first year since we uprooted ourselves from everything we ever knew and embarked on a new life in Laurel, Mississippi. It has been the best decision of our lives to move to this fantastic small town, where we’ve been embraced by such a warm, loving and caring community. Our hometown is the epitome of southern hospitality at it’s best. Since moving to town, we started gardening, created an Airbnb, added our sweet Lady Spencer Buckley to our family, converted the garage into an art studio for Jon. Tons of other projects in the making that we will be sharing with you in future blogs.

Look out for Stephanie’s new business venture, Festoon Balloons here in Laurel Mississippi! (I was lucky enough to create her new business logo.)
From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank you all for touching our lives in such a positive way, we want to thank Hometown for designing the home of our dreams, to every single one of you that makes us feel so welcome since we arrived to town. To all of our Airbnb guests who chose to stay with us, you continue to enrich our lives. To Agape church for strengthening our faith and to all the wonderful people that we call friends today and anyone that has crossed path with us in town. And most of all to you the readers of our blog, a big thank you for your love and support and for taking this journey with us. It had been a great year so far, we are looking forward to many new adventures ahead.
